Downtown Evanston is conveniently connected to Chicago and other suburbs by both the Metra and the El (CTA Purple line)! Metra and the El are excellent ways to see Chicago once you’re here; Metra is a quick shot into Downtown Chicago, but lower train frequency. A superb and efficient option if it works with your schedule! The El is great too, and will take you to so many great neighborhoods. Have fun exploring – the Ventra app will make it easy. We highly recommend utilizing trains whenever you can, especially if you are heading into Chicago. Both the El and Metra have a stop at Davis just a few blocks from the hotel and venue that can take you anywhere you want to go!
From O’Hare
If you’re flying into O’Hare, we suggest utilizing the Skokie Pulse bus to get to downtown Evanston. It starts at the O’Hare multi-modal facility and the final stop on the line is Davis Street – easy! The bus syncs with traffic lights, making it more efficient than rideshare to get to Evanston. Rideshare options are also readily available throughout.
The blue line of the El leaves directly from the airport and will bring you to downtown Chicago, where you can transfer at the Loop onto the purple line to get to Evanston-Davis street, the closest stop to our wedding destination.
From Midway
The orange line of the El leaves directly from the airport and will bring you to the Loop, where you can transfer to a purple line train towards Evanston. The Evanston-Davis street stop is closest to our wedding venue and hotel!
Parking
For guests staying at the hotel, please know that they do not offer free parking. There are parking garages nearby and the hotel offers valet parking. Garage parking is $18/night and the hotel valet is $37/night (plus fees).

If you are staying the whole weekend or overnight, we recommend either the hotel valet or the Church Street Self Park lot (525 Church Street, Evanston), which is accessible from both Church Street and Clark Street. The Church street parking lot is 0.2mi from the hotel.
If you only need parking for Saturday, we recommend either the Church Street Self Park Lot (525 Church Street) or Evanston Lot 3. The entrance for Evanston Lot 3 is just east of the library on Church Street. Payment for that lot is through the Park Evanston app or credit card. Parking is free on Sundays in Evanston Lot 3. Church street self park is a garage option that is also extremely close.
For those traveling from the city and suburbs, we highly recommend utilizing public transportation as an option. Both the Metra and CTA Purple Line share a station at Davis Street, 0.2 miles and 0.3 miles from the hotel and the Woman’s Club, respectively. Rideshare options are also readily available for any of your travel needs!
